So not much help its virtually built i need instructions from flat pack
Well done Mr. Witkowski 😀👍
Genuine question are the turn ups high enough to stop water from blowing up and under ?
Thanks for the question. The turn up’s are done specifically to ensure water does not ingress. The recommendation is a 30mm turn up at 90 degrees.
great videos thanks
I just notice under the sheet. There's downlights, how do you run cabling for those downlights? Look like the foam sandwiched between the sheets.
It is a really good idea to do in the shed but is it going to be waterproof or is it going to lakewater when it rains?
Also can you reverse door direction during install?
Hi there, unfortunately you cannot reverse the door direction on the Handi-Pod shed as it is a fixed kit. Thanks.
What do you do with the silicone???
Hi there, regarding what to do with the silicone, please apply silicone to the underside of the Downpipe Outlet. Fit the Downpipe Outlet into the Downpipe Opening in the Gutter. Rivet the Downpipe Outlet in place using four Rivets. Apply silicone to the inside gaps of both Gutter ends. Thanks.
How long does it take for polystyrene to decompose. I've used this twice. Also look in the video at the polystyrene blowing all over the joint. How do you get away with the polution. Both times I've used it what a mess. It looks like it has snowed. And why don't you cut the gutter part off in the factory. It's it because of laziness or money. I will never ever use this product again. Polluters of the 21st century. Disgusting. Shamefull.
Good afternoon, this product can be ordered with the edges cut. This should have been specified at the time of ordering. Thank you.
Make sure the metal sheet curves into the door frame when you attach it, and attach a little shy of the edge. The goal is to align the sheets so that once the door flashing is rivetted on, you can get all four screws in the hinges biting into the door frame. Do it wrong, and only two of the screws will be usable.
Thank you for watching, we appreciate the feedback.
Not too bad. The manual forgets the push taps for the floor and this fellow secured the floor with one screw instead of 3 (as per manual). When on its side, there are an additional 2 screw that screw in towards the back at the left and right most areas of the floor (just like the roof screws). All in all a pretty nice unit, and this colour is handy if you have an average lit garage and want to be able too see the storage space better.
Thank you Adam, appreciate your feedback.
I bought a 6x3x2.4 m high wall gable roof "single garage shed" with roller door. Instructions are general. I am a handy man but never built sheds, I was hoping to receive in my email pack "of how to step by step" how to build my own shed i bought and not receive a general email with this video attached to it and other advertising stuff. STRATCO AU, is it that complicated to have a specific instruction for the shed i bought? Am i expecting too much for a 5900$ shed? Make your product easily read and understood by simple handy men not just builders- this is how you increase your market. I need a simple step by step guide how to install my shed, thanks
Thank you for your feedback we are always looking to improve our videos. If you would like any further information about a particular install please give us a call on 1300 165 165.
@@stratcoAU i have been told “we have had same instructions for 11 years”. For a DIY shed ( 6x3 m and 2.4 m high wall) as is advertised, there are almost NO instructions. What about giving proper instruction similar to a IKEA product, steps to follow to build the shed please…? Unless STRATCO you make this on porpoise to get more business to build it???? I feel forced to contract a builder to build a DIY shed only because the available instructions are hard to read for a handy man, they are more intended for builders and engineers…. I wish i have read instructions before purchasing my shed, lesson learnt Stratco. Will you change your advert that is not a DIY shed or actually make some proper instructions and videos related to your products…? Thanks
Mostly clear but ... the installation of the suspension bracket is confusing. Why don't you show this at the start with 'if you're using a suspension bracket' do this ... ? Also the location of the bracket on the back channel isn't mentioned. Flush at each end? and what? 125mm from the bottom of the channel? Would help to know what size holes to pre-drill or if it's only a pilot hole then say so at the part where he's drilling

ThanksYoui!!!!
Nice shed, would love them in a bigger size. Please introduce more size options.
I will pass this feedback on. Thank you for watching.
Full. Support. This. Channel ♥️👍👌👍
Hi Johnson, thank you.
Fantastic. Thank you.
Glad you liked it!
looks cool in black ! how big is it?

@@stratcoAU Can you read? they asked how big it is you pelicans
Reciprocating saw or cutting wheel on your grinder would have been faster
Thank you for your feedback and thank you for watching :)
That roller door installation is hilarious didn’t level it didn’t tension it 🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is definatley not clear enough to actually do this job. Very poor effort by Stratco.
Thank you for your feedback, we are currently looking at updating our videos.
If that wasn't clear enough you should get an installer maybe.?
Utterly useless
Please contact us for install institutions if needed.
Great video. Cheers
it appears to be the Rack-it system, although it also appears as though the bench top is not supported by the top rails? The rail mid span braces sit below the upper surface of the rail so also don't support the bench top. Rail doesn't need a brace if there is no load on it! .... and what's supporting the bench top?
Hi Marty, the bench top is screwed to the frame which is acting as its support. Thank you for your feedback. :)
This is not that simple. Channels will not align with sheet metal, no pilot holes in door jamb. What is portrayed as a 'simple' task is nervous breakdown inducing.
Fresh healthy lawn thats why they eat the lawn 🪲 cause the problem
I've bought one of those sheds . Install came to a halt because there's no instructions anywhere for where the reinforcement header beams go . Any help anyone ?
Please call us on 1300165165 for more assistance :)
Don't quit your day job
Absolutely like the videos guys from Geelong Victoria 👍🇦🇺😀
Hi Peter, Thank you.
why would you bury the lemon try so low, wouldn't it get trunk rot?
Hi Adam, great question. As long as the graft is above the soil leave the tree will be fine. Thank you for watching :)
The problem is which is the best way to waterproof the bottom rail so that no water can flow into the inside of the shed ?
A good preventative is to silicon the inside and outside of the shed. Thank you for watching.
You laid the decking upside down! the fluted side goes down, it's designed for ventilation with the floor frame. Helps to stop rot.
You think they would put wood stringers on the inside so you can get a place to put a screw into.
I got 12 aluminium spacers and 30 off m2x90 bolts and nuts but zero instructions of where these are suposed to go! My deck is 4.7m x 1.75 free standing. numbers dont make any sense regardless of which type of corners I use?????????????????????????
With covid behind us is national patio day back this year?
Is it possibly to install the door so it opens to the right and not left?
*PromoSM*
GUtter is way to high, bodge job guys.
Not bad but you're much better off getting a 19mm spanner underneath than using the crappy hex key as it doesn't have enough leverage and the tops of the legs round off.
What is the size of the bolt for the adjustable legs? Looks like a m10 or m12
$200 + $90 delivery, not available in stores :(
I would like to put this in an Absco shed. The corrugations are about 15cm apart, which means this window will not fit perfectly on the over flutes. Would this mean water will get in around the sides?
We only produce our windows for Stratco sheds, I'm not sure how it will work on another shed, sorry. If you want to come into store and talk to one of our experts, they might be able to help you with some further advice.
What about wild birds?
If possible its always best to try and identify the bird to start with. This way you could see if there is a food source in your garden that is attracting them and you can remove. You could also look to remove water sources for them to drink from or overhanging branches for them to rest on. If it comes to physical barriers to keep them away you could look at things that create noise to scare them or light to dazzle them. Scare crows or toy snakes sometimes work. Bird scaring wire or Cds hanging in trees have also been known to work but these do rely on moving them regularly as birds will get used to them in the same spots and the scare factor will lessen. One final solution are motion activated sprinklers. As the birds fly in front of them it sends out a stream of water to scare them off. I hope some of these ideas help you with future bird issues. Hi magnum3550, how can we help you?
What size is this?
3.16m wide x 3.16m long x 2.4m high (wall height at eaves). See more info on the Stubbie range at www.stratco.com.au/au/sheds--garages/garden-sheds/stubbie-sheds/
Why at 50 seconds it seys to use screws
We need to re-shoot this video, we do recommend using 10x16 wafer head screws as explained in the voice over, not a rivet as shown in the video.
My door doesn't close enough to lock it. The wafer head screws on the bracing hit the inner plate of the door jamb preventing it from closing enough to slide the bolt across :'( Could another latcher spacer be sent out?
Thank you for taking the time to show how to attach that 2nd upright rail! Other videos don't. ❤
Bloody awesome instructional and installation video, covered just about everything you’d need to know for the DIY or potential buyer. Many thanx
